Thanks for the comments. Glad that u like the 'Four Beauties' Shot. I like it too.
Me using 70-200mm f4 on my 40D, Av Mode, 100mm Focus length, shutter speed 1/300, ISO 1000, no flash.

Poses of the dancers are well taken.

Yes, all the shots posted here are taken at 2nd Level, on the right side of the stage.

Hi,

Being able to take pic indoors in still so elusive for me. I am surprised it's an f4 lens and you can push it to 1/300!

I know ISO1000 helps but still..... the pictures are quite "bright". Any post processing done?

Tripod?

So... can I say that the 70-200mm f2.8 would have done an even better job?

Did use PS to do a slight Unsharp Mask, and bump up the brightness abit to make it look brigther.

Definately, a 70-200mm f2.8 will do a better job, but the killing factor is the weight, I dont have a strong arm, u see...kekeke....so have to settled for a f4.

Wow.. I know the f2.8 costs more but it's almost double (just realized)!

But, it's kind of tough to choose... cos already spend thousands on a lens.. may as well get a slightly better one. So hard to choose!

f2.8 cost double of a f4 also weighed double the weight also. 800g compared to 1.5kg.

Getting a f2.8 or f4 depends on your kind of photography, for me, usually outdoor, so a f4 will do fine for me, but if u do a lot of indoor, then a f2.8 would be better.;)
