Hi all,

Still really new to photography and was hopping that I will be able to get advise on how to improve my photos at this section.

1. in what area is critique to be sought?
Everything.

2. what one hopes to achieve with the piece of work?
Honestly, no ideal..just wanted nice photos of Kr..

3. under what circumstance is the picture taken? (physical conditions/emotions)
It was winter and minus 11 degrees...so my hands were frozen stiff. :bsmilie:
Photos taken with kit lens which is the only lens I have currently.

4. what the critique seeker personally thinks of the picture
Out of the many photos I took, I like this few the best...but I'm sure there are still many other ways to improve on them.

There you go.. the pic...

For starters, your choice placing the line of people so close to the bottom of the frame is the immediate thing that jumped out at me.

I like the colors though.. Are there any other angles of the location you captured? The composition of this shot looks very common... nothing shines for me here except for the color.

Thanks for the advise...actually I crop the photo as below the line of people was the road. So was thinking not to include it in the photo. Maybe it would be better if I included it.

I agree that composition is normal. I'm not really very creative so I'm still trying to learn how I can take better photos.
Shall try to practice more. =)

can u post the original photo (without cropping)?

I can't as I deleted the raw file already.. But next time will take note to leave some space below. =)
