DSLR Photography Course (Proficiency Level) - 25th January 2011

Someone asked: Can Creative photography be taught? Our Answer is: One can be conditioned to look at things in a creative way?

This course shall have its practical sessions conducted over one weekend where the participants are led by the instructor who is a Fellow of The Royal Photographic Society UK. Various techniques and ways to approach the subject will be discussed during the practical sessions.

Lesson 1: 25th January 2011, Tuesday, 7.30pm to 8.30pm
Lesson 4,5: 29th January 2011, Saturday, 3.00pm to 8.00pm
Lesson 2,3: 30th January 2011, Sunday, 8.00am to 10.00am, 6.00pm to 8.00pm
Lesson 6: To be confirmed in the class

Course Fee: S$240.00, 6 Lessons (Fee including certification for LPVS)
Instructor: Steven Yee
Location: 190 Middle Road #04-28 Fortune Centre S (188979)


The Proficiency level focuses on creative photography where the various photography techniques will be covered. The Art of Seeing is very important, hence, the proficiency level consists of 4 sessions of outdoor practical practice with the instructor and 2 classroom sessions for briefing and critique.

This workshop shall also meet the objective of making you a more confident photographer, able to handle day and night scenes. The various special techniques such as Panning, Long Exposure, Gradual Zoom etc will be covered and you shall practise them with guidance.

The prerequisite for this course is knowledge of fundamentals of basic photography.
