Came across this breathtaking gallery of pics showing aerial photos shot by a Canon A80 slung under a kite:

The concept is quite interesting, and a cheaper and more accessible alternative to photographing from planes or helicopters, but I guess you need to rig up the camera properly (otherwise if it drops, you can say bye bye to it :D ) And how did these fellas control where the cam points to? Won't there be vibrations from the strongs winds? :sweat:

So anyone want to try slinging their DLSR with wide angle lens under a big kite to shoot aerial panoramas? ;p

I wonder how its done???
Either you got to be really lucky to get good composition or there's some way to control the kite cam
