nice pics, esp the first one, but this is kindness practised in the wrong sense in my opinion. Feeding these birds will result in the deterioration of their natural preying instincts. They will get over-dependent on human feeding. It's just like why National Parks discourage people to feed the monkeys at Bukit Timah Nature Reserve.

When I was in Sydney, my impression of seagulls changed tremendously. Seagulls used to be pure, graceful, carefree creatures to me. But when I saw flocks of them crowding near the harbour area, fighting with each other for food that humans threw to them, I got really disgusted. C'mon there are fishes in the waters. Instead they rather go for the popcorns and fries. They've lost a lot of their natural beauty and elegance.

From then on, I always shun seagulls when I see them.
