I was snapping some photos of a Xmas party and i got this. to me its a bonus. Please give me you C&C and im hoping to learn from it.

In all areas. for example composure

2. What were you hoping to achieve with this image?
to be able to capture the emotions of the kids.

3. Under what circumstance was the picture taken? (physical conditions/emotions)
The kids were just playing around and i just sat and took shots of them playing and this captured my eye

4. Thread-starter's personal thoughts about the image.
This photo for me showed how a small boy and girl could show affection to each other. with just a simple request to play about.

1. Good that you manage to get the eye contact of both the kid.
2. White balance seems to be off. Too much red
3. A tighter crop. Currently too much empty space to the left and above the subject.
4. Increase the contrast of the pic.

how did you achieve this coloration?

if it is incam, i don't knwo what you did. if it is with post process, the overdominance of red does not do much for me.

a tighter composition for this one might be better. i personally would have chosen to jsut shoot the expression of the little girl and leave out the boy altogether, if i had to shoot a photo in that moment.
