Kenko teleconverters - what is DG version?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

any idea what is DG version in a Kenko teleconverter? what is the difference between non-DG and DG? Mechanically is there any difference for fitting between the lens and body?
Personally I suspect it is about the "D" (distance) info for Nikon's 3D matrix metering, for transfering this D information from lens to the body. I also suspect that G is for the no-aperture ring lens for G-type Nikkor lens.

Correct me if i am wrong. thanks

Wrong. DG is just their denotation for their optimized digital series.
Is it reduced image circle or can it be used for FF?
