to my knowledge, shops care more that they get good service and good price from the distri... the brand that allows them to make the most $$$ will be their best friend for the season

Price with the 18-55 zoom is US$1750 from Adorama. Should be cheaper in Singapore (?)

They are accepting orders now, but the customer support cannot give a firm delivery date in MA.
