Hi Mates,

When focusing, the noise generated seems louder than normal. I just want to make sure that it is normal. Can someone put my mind to rest ?

How to define how much loudness is normal? My kit lens is also noisy because it uses the screw drive motor of the camera body. But if your lens is really too noisy for comfort, better to meet up with some of us and do a direct comparison.
