24mm - No price. Fast lens.

30mm f/1.4 AP selling around $900. HSM motor!

don't think the pentax mount one has HSM

Yes, I have the Zenitar 16mm/2.8. It is a very sharp fisheye for that kind of price to pay. I find that it is sharper than Peleng 8mm. The only thing is it is still little 'fish' when use on dSLR at 1.5x crop. ...
The pics looks good, lens seems fast... buy like you say still a bit "fishy" ;) ... It will be good as a fun lens

how many type of SMC 55mm f1.8 prime Len Pentax made before?
which type can direct mount to a DL without any adapter?

how's its quality?

I think the selling point for pentax is as long as its k-mount , it can fit and majority of all pentax lenses in the past and all lenses are this mount. the ones that need the adapter are the M42 ones that were available before the kmount was introduced.

The M42 mounts can be used on ANY camera with a suitable adapter.

Not sure if it has been brought up before.... there is this Zenitar 16mm f/2.8
It is manual and fisheye. But it is fast and it is cheap... ~USD$120 +$30 for delivery.

DSLR 1.5X crop lessen the fisheye effect.

Anyone has tried this lens ? Is it good ? :dunno:

Actually there is a Zenitar 16mm F2.8 fisheye lens for Pentax K mount. It's quite good optically, and build quality is okay too. I had one for a short while, quite liked it.

You can find some citywalk photos I took over a year ago:

A couple samples from above post (both were defished by PTLens in CS2):

You can get this lens for abit less than US$140 from eBay brand new, and it's a K mount lens, so you don't need an adapter for it :)

Cheers and happy shooting.

mmm...the curvature is such that its called distortion for good image and yet not "fish-eye" enough for a fish eye lens. I think it would have performed better on the film slr instead?

but the image is nice and contrasty...:)

think quite a few webbie lists it as having HSM, yes even the Pentax mount one :)

hmm according to sigma website it doesn't have. it would be good if it does. anyone with pentax mount sigma 10-20 care to clarify?
