If you have both already, go for other important non-photography things.

The k7 is the k30d. You may want wait for the k8. That would probably be a model where they'll enhance some features on the k7 like how k20d is to the k10d.

Will the next one be K-8?
A suggestion for the K-7 was K-9 which was rejected for obvious reasons.
So I don't think they will want to head in a direction which will eventually lead back to K-9 (again)?

There won't be a K30D, and K-7 isn't K30D. It's a different camera, not really the K10D/K20D line. If you are waiting for a K20D replacement, you'd be disappointed.

It seem like I got final version of a camera, what exciting thing to hear, I would be a K20D loyalist, until I got hijacked by the same creator if it creates different camera from the k7 maybe oneday:bsmilie:. PH30D = Pentax Hoya Digital.
