Hi bros n sis. Its been a long time. hehe.

I have some issues with my K-5 lately. I started to realized my K-5 has problem focusing. I thought at first my Tamron 28-75 has a problem focusing. Coz sometime back focus intermittenly. Then today when I tried using my manual lens Cosina 50mm, the same thing happen. AF indicator does not tell the correct focus. Both lens having the same problem with the camera. Surprisingly, when i let my fren use my Tamron lens on his K-5, the picture is sharp n focus is correct.

Any bros can help me in this problem? should I send it for servicing or I can do it myself via pressing those confusing menu buttons.lol. Previously the focusing was sharp n great. But after that it went haywire. Im using Pentax Firmware 1.03 on it.

If servicing, can still send to emjay since kevin is not there anymore? or i can send to other party that does servicing?

Thanks In advance.

Is it persistent back focus or on and off? Sometimes lighting condition can affect af.

I find the af indicator rather generous when using on mf lenses so i dun really trust it ;p

Not sure really. feels like a persistent problem. I also thinking its lighting problem too. Just now test, my Cosina when underexposed tend to be sharp then in correct lighting. funny. Now testing my Tamron again.haiz.
