23, 730pm to 930pm! All talks will be held at the Singapore Art Museum,
Glass Hall, 71 Bras Basah Road. Admission is free.

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

:: T A Y K A Y C H I N, founding director of Shooting Home, is a
volunteer photographer for Mercy Relief, a Singapore-based NGO.
Together with four other photographers, they put up a series of
exhibitions - Glimpses of Light, to bring first-hand pictures from
tsunami disaster areas. Kay Chin will talk about how photography can be
a viable tool for bringing about positive changes to ordinary lives.

:: J U S T I N G U A R I G L I A has photographed in nearly 60
countries worldwide, and has lived in Asia for the past ten years, and
will be moving back to New York later this year. He's won numerous
international awards for his work, and is currently a "Contributing
Editor" for National Geographic Traveler, with his archive is
represented by the prestigious National Geographic Image Collection in
Washington, D.C. He has also been named one of the top "30 Young
Photographers Under 30" by Photo District News, and was nominated for
the "Young Photographer of the Year" award by the International Center
of Photography in New York. Justin went on to win two "Pictures of the
Year" awards for his work in China in 2003 and was recently named one
of Houston's Fotofest's "10 Discoveries of 2004". Justin will talk
about challenging yourself to develop as a photographer or creator. On
the constant search for inspiration and growth, Justin will take the
audience on an inspiring visual ride through photos and video clips of
his evolution as a creator. Come learn from his experiences, trials and
tribulations.
