Just acquired a E500 - Any portrait lens to recommend?

just entered the realm of Olympus........:)

looking for a good portrait lens, preferably with nice bokeh...

anyone has any good recommendation? and price range?

Can't speak for the Sigma 30mm, but the 50mm ZD is an excellent piece of glass.

It is a little on the expensive side though. You also might want to consider the 35mm ZD as a cheaper alternative. From the shots posted by fellow Olympians using the 35mm, I'd say it is pretty capable itself.

I think raptor1 was selling his 50mm ZD, not sure whether it is still available.

30mm for portraits? I would say never less than 50mm unless you want to stick the camera into the subjects face. And I would also state that 50mm is the minimum, around 70mm gives the best result.
