;p

The lens cos more more than the whole kit, dont think can get it till i start work and eat grass.

Anyone can complete the picture ? ;p

based on my experience with this lens & a D70.
can tell u off hand its a little off balance as the body is too light.

if ur equation is meant to end up with a price, i would think its about $4k.

IMHO, go for it.
Get the lens 1st. Lens can keep, body can upgrade later.

Lens hold camera, not camera hold lens.

Dont understand pls enlight me.
Put simply, the camera's so light and the len's so heavy that it doesn't feel like the camera's mount is gripping onto the lens. It feels like the lens is holding onto the camera body instead.

= xy
(x equates to the performance of the body and lens combined)
(y is the variable depending on the skill of the photographer)
