JPEG Questions

Hi all,
Have a question that I hope experienced users here can help me with.

Is it possible to transfer images stored in your digicam onto the desktop, make adjustments (level, contrast, brightness etc) and store them back into the digicam for viewing purposes?

I tried this on my P&S Dimage X and those images cannot be viewed. I didn't resize the image, format is still JPEG and the compression setting is unchanged.

Any ideas how I can resolve this problem? TIA!

Nope. Names are the same.
