Jobu Gimbal head

Greetings all,

I am interested in buying a "gimbal style" tripod head. Heard the street price for a decent one is thousand dollars and above. Yet to do any research in the shops in SG, I went online to shop at alibaba.com

I got a few quotations from there. Lowest price is USD$199, shipping USD$29, free plate of my choice thrown in. Dealing company is either in India or Indonesia.

So, my question to all is, have anyone bought from this wonderful source?
If yes, how is the product holding up? Can it take the long lenses weight and swing around?

Benro's version is good. Look and feels like the real Wimberly. Price ard S$5++.

I see.. have not visited the Benro in the shops yet..

But $200+ compared to $500+, I can get two online. thats the greatest draw.. and prob greatest risk.

and that's why I'm here seeing if anyone have tested the water yet..

I've heard bad review of the Jobu but had not physically tested one yet.
