Saw kilkenny last week JZG post on "
I am just back, not fullblown autumm colours while i was there yet so you should be getting a better view." in my thread "Visiting JiuZhai Gou(Valley)+HuangLong around mid Oct 09" under Travel Photography forum. Your #4 photo is actually Shuzheng lake, not Rhino lake.

Since that forum is not for posting travel photos, I will post some sample photos here instead.
For sharing and for fellow TS to see "What a better view" in JZG on 20&21 Oct 09(3rd week of Oct) means. While there, it drizzled, I experienced some light snow and sky was cloudy most of the times. It was however sunny day on 22 Oct 09. Too bad my tour group was leaving JZG then.

Did not get to use the GND & ND filter while in the park. Used the CPL filter however and tripod.

Yup, noted fellow TS Tomcat sharing of when is fullblown Autumn colors.
May be we can have a weekly series of JZG park Autumn colors pictures transition by week. Missing piece is last week of Oct.

Enjoy the beautiful lakes and waterfalls of JZG, especially 5 Colored lake.
