Jewellery photography equipment List

Hi
Recently I am into jewellery photography but i Keep having this problem of if I am not using Flash, I cannot get the capture sparkle off the jewelry but if I use some of the crystal or shining bits will turn black.
I try controlling the power of the flash and using diffuser, but it does not really help that much. I heard of ring flash and it seems to help. If it does anyone can recommend me a model or two and what is the rough price range they sit at?

You don't have to use a ring light, are u using a light tent?

I am using light box so I do have a similar setup as the guy in the video but unfortunately this only work for normal jewelry not those like diamonds and crystal. I read elsewhere that ring flash helps since the flash come from where the lens is the reflected sparkle will be captured.
