Hahah....if you look carefully ....the highlights looks like a smiling face with teo eyes and a mouth....heheheh..

Setup: 100mm macro + ring flash...@ 1:1..

heh I think its hard to not let the flash reflect off the hard and reflective cuticle of the dragonfly....
how the heck did you make it stay still?
butterflies and dragonflies all run when they see me :(

huge eye!

After a few shot with flash, the dragon fly always seem to be in a state of temporary blindness. I encountered a few occassion whereby it just stay there and my lens is just inches away. Be patience. Dragonflies are teretorial, they alay=ways come back to the same spot after a while.

Sulhan, very nice shot. Your macro shots are always as good.

It looks cross-eyed to me

Off camera flash would have been better, but who am I too talk - very nice shot, well done.

Nice artistic shot of the DF:thumbsup:

only one word

Flash to harsh and looks like heavily cropped. Can see grains on the green b/g.

Wow, that's close. I have yet get any close shot like that. Really impressive. I thought it's taken by a reverse lens or something like that ...
