IT Show - Does Lens usually come with Discount ?

Should i wait for coming IT show ? Any diff in price than "normal" time ?

i doubt so... so far never see any lens going for sale... mainly camera bodies... so far ONLY IT-show (in march) that has Sigma carrying their booths... else, PC Show, COMEX and SITEX majority only on camera bodies, printers, notebooks and LCDs

At the last show, a Sigma 28-70 f2.8 was going for 399. Sadly, i missed the last set. Would have made a good replacement for my kit

For IT shows, vendors usually bring in products that will generate volume sales (e.g. camera body kit) rather than "niche" products like lenses.

any good place to get "lower than listed" price for EFS 17-55mm F/2.8 IS ?:dunno:

I call up the usual CP, MS, ... all like like they have agreed on the same price.:angry:

I think yes, but in case you buy a new body then the discount will be much more for the lens purchase.
Or you can contact the ones want to buy body + kit lens without need of buying other lens.

Yup agree on this. For Sigma, that time, i guess only the 30 f1.4 got good deal. others please correct.

U will probably get a better price from the usual camera shops for new units.

Seconded. Really, no point squeezing in.

Check out Parisilk in Holland V. I have found good deals on Tamron lenses sometimes.
