the 2nd one looks like "the look of the prey"...doesn't have the hunter sharp killing eyes.

The first one is nice...would be better if there are no strings on the legs of the bird.

I personally prefer the 1st pic, the eagle's feathers tends to stand out from the background, but just too bad that you're not able to close in on the eagle.

My 1 cent worth of comment.

:thumbsup: Good work, Tom. Eagles are hard to catch I like the first but you were not lucky with the background. Second one sharp and could be better if the full wings could be shown.

You are using D30 or D60 right? Can't imagine burning films to shoot birds in flight...the chances of getting a nice one is...1/10th?

The panning in the 3rd one is nice (but eagle not so sharp)...I prefer the colour of the eagle in the first photo.
