Hi, just switch on the TV and realise that I can't watch any of the channels other than the local one! Tried call up their customer care and I couldn't get through due to "overwhelming volume and all customer care officers are engaged"

Anyone is having the same problem?

no issue with mine...watching CNBC now...:)

my side ok leh...:think:

so far so gd...no problem in watching cable tv..

Other than you can't watch, can you provide more details? e.g. you receive a message that says no signal, the picture quality was bad, etc .....

Hey,
I also have the same problem here.

I can't watch any other channels other then the local ones.
For cable channels like AXN,discovery channel,
the screen appear as blank with a message that say;
"To subscribe this channel, Please call 1633"

& I also get the same response when I called the hotline.
I think we can only wait for Starhub to solve the problem ASAP.

Yeah, i can't view any cable tv channels on my 2nd set top box except TVRI, Arirang, KBS World, Australia Network, Russia Today, other than free-to-air channels.
As for the others, I only get on-screen messages saying, "To subscribe to this channel, please call 1633".
No problems on my 1st set-top box in my living room though.

Their customer service hotline is very, very hot right now cos I can't get thru.
There seems to be some kind of network problem islandwide that is affecting some cable tv customers, like me.

Some Starhub staff must have been very bad this year and Santa didn't like it one bit.

hmmm its weird but those channels I din subscribe are avaliable to me. Actually, all channels are avaliable.

No, My starhub cable TV was still working since 2003. my area in kampong Arang

lol was channal surfing since yesterday. I tot it was only me and they will resolve it by midnight but today, all channals are still avaliable. Realised that fashion tv late nights is la sup channal! :bsmilie: Thats what I call classy ultra soft porn!

As at 3am this morning, back to normal, all channels that did not subscribe but viewable is no longer available. SH must have done reset or updating during last 2 days.
