Yea, is there a spray or something which makes glossy photos or shiny surfaces into a smooth matte-like surface?

Like ... spray on matte, instead of spray on gloss.

Fixative like those used for fixing charcoal and chalk drawings, or even rattle can matt spray paint.

Not sure how that would affect photographic emulsions short or long term though.

Another alternative is diluted tea or soaked tobacco solution. When I used to hand tint B&W prints, I noticed that such solutions imparted a matt finish.
