Is model photoshooting a "dirty" hobby?

OK, this is kopitiam discussion ... i wonder if let say someone who is active in photoshooting and posting models, in bikini, lingerie, artisitc, etc.... and let say he is just a average shooter, is he been potentially disqualified from becoming a MP in our nation where the governing party is supposed to be "superclean"? Or maybe not so acceptable for holding high posts, like Principal, Police Inspectors, etc....
Is such hobby "not acceptable" or "dirty" to the masses? :think:

hmm... if liddat i think its better to go into monk hood, since he so pure until dun even know the difference between man & woman...

and if lets say all of those 'superclean' beings think they are damn clean, den how do they know about how to 'make babies'... i dun believe in 'natural process'...

i'll cast my votes (if any) to any normal beings who knows what he is doing & true to himself than hypocrites who tell me & any others what we can or cannot do...

Well, you can always organise a private shoot, shoot 1-to-1, and keep the film/digital files in safebox, then nobody knows it.

I mean, for example, a young member (probably a undergraduate) here who enjoys this hobby and is very active in the postings of models, etc ... Then maybe few years down the road, PM invited him for tea and found him to be perfect to be groomed as potential Minister-stuff, then when he asked him what his interest is, and if he says like, " oh... i love shooting models in my free time" .... dont know whether he will still be considered ...:think:
If confirmed no chance, then take this as a wake-up call for those who intend to go high places in Sg :sweatsm:

i would guess that youth would say photography would be his hobby instead of 'photographing models'. i would find it quite contrary, that someone who has interest in doing that kind of photography would be less eligible for a high/managerial post in the govt or a company.

all things considered, if done in good taste, the work is more of an appreciation of the human body and form, and would show more of that person's character and attitude in that sense.

In that case I think he can tell the PM he is now a reformed photographer shooting only macro. :bsmilie:

There's a difference btw hiring a model to pose in a bikini for a model shoot and taking pictures of yr maid in her under wear, if that's what you're asking, even if your subject consented in both situations.

But yeah it pretty safe to say that if you want to be a public figure you can't be going for bikini shoots and stuff like that. An MP has to maintain decorum... you can't be seen as part of the paparazzi now can you?
