I even avoid going on weekend and you are talking about the night before festival which has more impact on little india traffic.

Think thrice, is the thing you want to buy urgently needed to be bought by tonight. If not, my advice is not to go! It will be so overly crowded that once you are in it, its quite impossible to move around.
