Is firmware update for Sony nex 5nd necessary?

Can anyone advise me on this ? My nex 5nd firmware version is 1.01, is it good to upgrade to ver 1.05?

There is generally no bad upgrades, all upgrades are to improve your camera. I can't see why the company would issue a bad update to the consumers.
