Think you ppl should see this.......

Extracted from the web site:

"The tiny hand of a fetus reaches out from a mother's womb to clasp a surgeon's healing finger. It shows a 21-week-old fetus in its mother's womb, about to undergo a spine operation designed to save it from serious brain damage (by the way, at 21 weeks old, this baby could still be legally aborted). The tiny hand in the picture above belongs to a baby which is due to be born on December 28. It was taken during an operation in America recently. The baby is literally hanging on for life. For this is one of the most remarkable photographs taken in medicine and a record of one of the world's most extraordinary operations. The surgery was carried out entirely through the tiny slit visible in the wall of the womb and the 'patient' is believed to be the youngest to undergo it."

See http://www.abortiontv.com/ForbiddenPicture.htm

Was shocked to see that a 5 months old fetus is capable of doing that....think this should dispel any myths that an unborned baby is not a living being!!!

Anyway, glad that the baby could make it thru the ordeal alive...he should be abt 2 1/2 yrs old by now. :)

By the way, the rest of the web site is strongly NOT recommended for those with weak hearts.

Though bloody and gory...the pix shows the significance of life, and how strong the will of a person (even for those unborn yet..) can be.

The other pix in the website are just plain upsetting, need some time to recover from mourning for those wasted lives. :(

The website really damn shockin

well.. learnt that in the first few months of pregnancy, the foetus isn't quite considered to be 'alive' yet as it has not developed organs for living... BUT  gosh...in the pic the foetus even got hands liao.... no doubt.. its considered a living being!

mm...wellllll....muz also look at another pt of view wad...

what if the baby has multiple disorders that would have made its life short and painful?

actually the ability to grasp, i think, is an auto response from the baby. i could be wrong. always thought it was natures way to make sure the baby grabs onto it's mother or whoever is carrying it so that it won't fall, much like the way baby monkeys cling to their mothers.
