There has been some questions on how to process RAW images for IR.
History:
There has always been the method of using CWB and shooting jpeg, however I have almost always shot RAW without any CWB, preferring to use the tools provided for RAW processing to get the look I want.
The debate of RAW vs jpeg/CWB is beyond this demo .
Here is a short summary of my workflow with ACR (CS 2), CS 3 is almost identical ...
#1 Raw shot with AWB, looks red....
#2 Color Temperature changed to 2000K.
#3, tint changed. I find tint is from 0 to -100 , depending on the camera, exposure etc, you'll need to find a good number for your cam/shot...
#4, optional, change the sat and hue of each color individually. This is a for fine tuning and if #3 (tint) does not get the effect you want.
#5, auto-level, channel swap, rotate ...
The rest is the typical processing steps described in greater detail by the other posts in this forum.
You may have to iterate #3 to #5 several times to get the "look" you require .
I hope this short intro has been useful to you.
