Hi,

Does anyone know of any method to mount an iPhone 4 to the side of a DSLR (Canon 1dmkiv)?

I'm looking to use it to shoot video while I shoot stills with the Canon.

The screw mount at the bottom is already used for a blackrapid strap and the flash mount is not an option either.

I did think of using a Gopro with a side-mount, however, it adds a few extra layers to my workflow, and would rather just use the iPhone + iMovie to edit and file videos straight away.

If anyone had any ideas, that would be great.

1. Something like the glif+serif on your iphone:

2. An offset bracket that'll go between your camera and the blackrapid fastenr.

Or if you can wrap it to the body somehow, this might work too: GripTight GorillaPod for iPhone, Android & Windows Smartphones

tats genius, exactly what i need i think.

would u by any chance know the name of the manufacturer of that bracket in the picture? i cant seem to find one like that on b&h

yea i would too, but need it for the flash though.
