My 7 years old Mitsubishi Aircon is finally not working anymore.
Repairmen came to my house and said the compressor and board caused it.
Need to change 2 compressors plus new board and total fee will be $1200

Might as well replace my old aircon with a new one.
I plan to get Daikin or Panasonic inverter.
Do you know which one has less power consumption and reliable?
I switch on the aircon on every night. Thanks.

Agree..
Midea is cheaper but it consumes more power than Mitsubishi or Daikin.

it really depends on your usage per day. if you use the aircon only during sleeping time of about 6-8 hours daily, an inverter may not be cost effective if you depreciate it over seven years base on your last aircon lifespan.

I normally sleep 8 hours during weekdays and 10+ hours during the weekend :)
So an inverter may not be cost effective for my case?
My current Mitsubishi Aircon is not an inverter and consumes so much power.
