Interesting undocumented series Cx0y0 macro feature! (Up to 6cm!)

I found this trick on emling.de, but I found no thread about this when searching in clubsnap, so forgive me if this is already posted. A big change from 20cm down to 6cm.

The method is:
1) Go into Macro mode
2) Zoom into max telephoto position
3) Use zoom control and do exactly FOUR steps back into wide angle (Causes even bigger movement of lens tube than the consecutive ones)
4) Happy snapping!

Tried but did not work on c750

er..i tot my c730 already has a super macro mode for 4cm shots? guess I wun need to try your method..hee..

Sorry guys, but it's for the x0x0 series, like 2020, 5050, etc. Not the 730, which only has 3 numbers.

Tried on my 5050 but doesn't seem to work. With Macro and just one step back from max tele, the min distance I can get is approx 10cm. Any other 5050 managed to do it?
