I have took a number of dragonflies, but I have never managed to resolve the compound eyes as in your Pic 6. The resolution of Pic 6 can see boundaries of each compound eye.

So what is the trick ? It's the 1.4xTC or what ?

errrrrr.... I supposed if you can capture enough details with accurate focusing then you should be able to see the details when you zoom into the picture... (I think ;P) mabe the season insect photographer can tell u more, I'm just a newbie :bsmilie:

nope, been using the blower... looks like there are some permanent dust struck on the cmos
