somehow, I think that for clouds, color is nicer. Do you feel the same way? But infrared does give it a kind of "cotton" like feel.

Hmm, I still prefer IR clouds as the sky would be darkened and the clouds would be very white. This contrast helps to put emphasis on the clouds itself.

What is your favourite setting when u using IR filteR?

I just get a R72 filter for my C2100.

Usually I use P mode, Auto ISO.
If it does not turn out well, will set it to ISO 400.
Try to use a tripod, as the typical exposure would be around 1/2s.
And always try to shoot where the sun is behind U.
