17mm 135 format eq is very wide.
looks promising as a street and landscape lens.

why not just make constant f4. f3.7 looks strange.

it they make 17-28mm f4, then it looks better.

If 08 is slightly wider, a little more at 12 or 14mm (35equivalent), then sui sui liao.

But 17mm (135 eq) is already very wide.
Thats about 11.5mm (ie. 10mm turn a little bit) on a Sigma 10-20mm on aps-c for example.
And no other advanced pns goes this wide.

I doubt its easy to make even wider with too many compromises to the edges due to the very small flange distance of the Q-system.

For me, its good to see the Q system grow with another new lens.
Hopefully, they will follow up with the tele macro.

11.5mm on Sigma is excellent , sui sui liao !

I meant 135mm film format.

But, yeah, its as wide as what we'd get with Sigma 10-20 at 11.5mm setting on K5 for example.

with 01 is for low light f1.9, 03 for fish eye. It looks good.
