Took this shot while in Perak, indigenous village...lovely people...
Love to hear comments on how to improve shots like these...
 

Too central for my liking, too much space too.
 

Either have a closer crop of the boy or include his whole body in the frame. Now it's just not here not there. Also check your white balance, seems to be on the red side. It's a great subject to shoot, hopefully there's more.
 

just remember taking picture is painting with light..so light is always an element..when the object is under shade without much light source..hard to be worth taking.
 

looks a bit underexposed, maybe a fill flash might have done the trick...
as for the boy, he a great subject with a great smile! but his legs were cut off... if his legs were in, it would have been much more complete...
 

Very very "everyday holiday photo" kinda shot. Lighting is off, composition is off, WB is off.
 

Prefer the boy eye looking at your direction.
