Just to share a shot for a friend... :)

Disclaimer: I am NOT a professional car photographer and I do not specialise in car photography

seems like at least 1 strobe from the front of the car and 1 from the side. nice overpowering of the ambient light. :D

shld try turning the front wheels to the side to make the pic look more dynamic.

why does the sky look noisy?

Looks like a 3 flash setup just counting the shadows. One on the left, perpendicular to the car, one on the camera itself, and one to the right of the camera and mounted higher.

Quite nicely balanced light on the car, but ditto putting the car at the bottom right and it looking out of the frame. May be better to frame it in the middle or biased to the left side of the frame.

slightly weird feeling to have the car placed at the bottom right i feel..

interesting lighting though.. how many flash did you fire? care to share your setup?

2 flashes were used plus one more SB-800 as commander. Both off-shoe flashes are firing at full power... Nikon D70s + Nikon 18-55mm f3.5-5.6
1/500s, F8, ISO 200

The sky was both overexposed (the sun) and underexposed (the rain clouds). Post processed to get the constrast and stuff...

Personally think that the lightings ain't good enough because the lighting is not even enough. Will try to experiment again with the lightings...

Nice pic. Care to share where is the location of shoot?

Very nicely done. no complaints about framing.

i find that the white line distracting .. love the lighting

Nicely done! Too bad when I used to own and tune Subaru WRXes, the Canon 20D or 5D hadn't been invented and i only had the Kodak DC-265 1.6MP!
