We are happy to announce that we will be hosting a public screening of in-sight, a documentary film by Nick Turpin about the street photographers of the ‘in-public’ group at the IPA Gallery on Thursday 20th October at 7:30PM.

About in-sight
in-sight is a film about Street Photography, and some of it’s top contemporary practitioners. Filmed in the UK, US, Holland and Australia, in-sight gets behind the camera and into the minds of in-public photographers in action on the street – revealing the photographers’ approaches, motivations, techniques and pictures. Photographers featured in the film are Nick Turpin, David Gibson, David Solomons, Melanie Einzig, Christophe Agou, Gus Powell, Richard Bram, Otto Snoek and Jesse Marlow. in-sight was commissioned for FORMAT11 and directed by Nick Turpin, street photographer and founder of In-Public.

Who Should Watch in-sight? Everyone. Aspiring street photographers, fans, students and lovers of the craft.

About Nick Turpin
Nick Turpin is a street photograpjer and founded the highly regarded In-Public street photography collective in January 2000. Photographers listed under In-Public include Joel Meyerowitz, Matt Stuart and Trent Parke to name a few. In 2009 he started Nick Turpin Publishing in order to provide a printed outlet for street photography.
