:)

 The first 3 are great shots.

thx :)

I like the concept of #1 and #3. However, personally, for #1, i would prefer the red to be more robust and also, cover more of the right side to give a more balanced display of the patterns.
As for #3, hmm, personally would prefer the focus to be on the red end of the joss sticks. Just my 2 cents la. But overall, its a good attempt! :)

thks!
yapster: yes i guess shud have increased DOF or focus on the point nearer to u.

i guess the BWs dun work?

Hmm, the composition a bit too many things to see for #2 in my view

nice capture..... well done .... :)

some one told me it was all grey stuff no contrast thus boring.
so i guess bad colour and composition so its no gd

at first glance, #1 is my fav but my eyes wander around.

i can't really find a spot that draw me in.

love em all, but my favourite's the first one. At first glance it looked like a flower macro shot.
Great job!

I guess there's a certain amount of rescue work you can do with #2. You can work on the contrast, but it still lacks a main subject of interest.

yea i guess. after looking at it a few times. erm.. like u said nth to draw the viewer in.
like cannot make out what is it at first.

yea can tone up the contrast. but still center of interest is unclear
