Hi guys, juz want to find out if there is any technique to remove the haze from a picture using PS? Since it is quite hazy now a days, the outdoor shots is very unsatisfactory covered with haze:(

In Photoshop, choose the "Levels" command (Ctrl-L). You will see a histogram, with three sliders underneath. Choose the leftmost slider and move it towards the centre. The haze will magically disappear. If the picture appears too dark, move the centre slider towards the left to lighten the picture. Play around and you will get the hang of it.

view the image using individual channels. If the hazy shows up more prominent in one of the channels, editing that channel will be sufficient.

Here's a much better tip: Shoot only when the weather gets better.

Either that or, as I said, take it as a photo-op to shoot stuff that looks good with haze.

Hmm... What are the situations where the haze can enhance the picture? Potraits? Old buildings?
