Hi There,

Kindly note that spring has come earlier for the E330 in SG which was orginally scheduled for availability in Mar during the IT Show. Stock of the E330 with kit lens has arrived & is en-route to dealers. The body only option will be available later.

Looks like there's only one way to go if you want a DSLR that works like a TLR :)

Cheers,

Thanks for making me laugh with this one! I can imagine a load of 14-45s in the second hand market... asking for $50 a piece!

hahaha...

in the states the 2nd hand market for this lens is actually higher than here. I read in some forums that some can get it sold at $100 US.

hey plastic, since you live in HK, mind checking out the 14-45 resale value there if you have the time? Would want to upgrade to a 14-54 and maybe the new 18-50 sigma.

TIA! :bsmilie:

The Sigma 18-50mm not exactly new... been around for a while. There is this 'set' available on Ebay tat is a 18-50mm + 55-200mm for S$439.90. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7593747698
have you opened too many windows and answered to a wrong thread? Sometimes it happens to me as well! :bsmilie:

anyway the 18-50mm comes in two flavours, 3.5-5.6 (older) and 2.8 versions (newer) .

Sigma 18-50 f2.8 and Zuiko 14-54 f2.8-3.5 carry about the same price tag, size and weight.

18-50 fov equivalent to 36-100mm
14-54 fov equivalent to 28-108mm

Sigma's advantage is constant f2.8 while Zuiko, drop abt 2/3 stop at the tele end.

However, the Zuiko has a wider 28mm fov and slightly better 'macro' capability, and most importantly, drip and dust proof feature.

Came to realise how important this is after the incident of water droplets landed on the lens barrel in Botanical Garden Cold Room yesterday.

But I'm excited seeing so many new lenses coming from Sigma, especially the 30mm f1.4 and 150mm f2.8.

Just my thoughts.
