one can stay in the Louvre in Paris for free [admission fees apply to all] if you are a serious painter wanting to learn and copy from the Masters.. licenses are issued. there is an ultraviolet stamp-chop at the corner of the canvas so there is no way one can make quick bucks by passing theirs for the real...

Hey, I have a photo of this guy copying a painting too! Guess he must be there all the time.

His copy not accurate leh...the woman's face looks chubbier than in the original. Maybe he's only "interpreting" and not copying? Hee hee

I think the difference may be due to the different angles of the original and copied painting in the photo.
