Went to IT Show 2002 just now, everything like usual, more expensive then SLS. What kind of IT Show is this.

Asked around some all in one reader/writer for my Memory Sticks, Microdrive and MMC. They got cheek to quote me S%150 for Imation FlashGo! geeeeeeee....

Went to Harvey Norman to buy at S$90 instead, though not as cheap as SLS (dunno SLS sell how much, never find out, think 80+) but at least it's not S$150!!! hehe

BTW, nice Reader! :)

is it red color? Got photo or not? I think its the one I wanted.. but that day no stock at the new shop by courts in Funan.

All I want to say is, dun buy at IT Show 2002 :)

woah 90 is cheap... in Funan the cheapest i got was $99.. lucky the store no stock only got display one so i didnt buy..

the only problem is , using the adapter for other media worries me as it might not last. Then again for $90 its quite cheap compared to others esp it accepts almost all media.

I bought the last one on display as well, maybe it's a 'get rid of last one on display' offer price, haha.

Anyway, I like this thing, coz I got a couple of different types of memory, very hard to manage...

like, Memory Stick for my Digital Camera & Clie, MMC for my Siemens SL6688i, MicroDrive for my gf's PocketPC...

ARghh, why cannot just come out ONE single format ar, haha, waste money, tsk tsk.

I had one bought fr South Asia Funan at S$99, tried to use all the adaptors.... worked very well... tranferred 64MB in juz 2 to 3 min for memory stick.... very fast. CF also transferred in excellent rate.
It's also plug and play..... no configuration needed for Win2000 and Win98. WinXP not tried yet.

Sh get one if U need CF and SM and MS.....

It supports USB 2.0 as in what? When you plug in it transfer at 480Mbps, or it is just using compatibility mode still transferring at 12Mbps?

I mean, USB 2.0 is downwards compatible mah...

Yes u're rite.... it's USB 2.0 compatible as what I try to refer to.....
well, I'd no USB2.0 hardware available for me to really test the speed..... but from what I had used so far (USB1.1), it is quite fast..... compared to other transfer adaptor that I used bef.....

I think there re some Taiwanese brand around in SLS, in term of design, this looks better.

Simply, I feel good abt this product.

:)

Hehe, I maybe will test the speed, coz I got this Firewire/USB 2.0 add on PCI card, but problem is, I do not have PCI slots left, all 6 used up, ArGhhhh....
