Images taken with Haida filters & Panosaurus

Hi all,

Thank you for the many wonderful pictures shown with Panosaurus and Haida.
I wonder if there will be an organised field trip with both products again.

Cheers...

Hi Ben

Thanks for dropping by. It really does sound like a great idea, we just dunno how much our schedule would allow. Although we do conduct regular demos at convenient locations about twice per month. If you like our facebook page linked in our signature you will be able to get updates on products and events.

Cheers

Very happy with the panosaurus results today.
Usually the things like the railings in the foreground would be a major headache for me to stitch up.

I left a full sized sample in my flickr for those who want to check it out.

I'm be heading to matterhorn in Dec. Planning to take sun rise.

First time using ND filter.

Can anyone advise me which ND suits my needs more?

I'm thinking 6 or 10 stops.

The ND is for slowing down the shutter speed.
Example of uses would be :
1. Slow down water flow
2. Accentuate cloud movement
3. Extend exposure time in crowded places so that people appear blurred or don't appear at all in the shot.

I think the first thing to ask is whether you will encounter these situations in your trip.

For myself, I tend to like the 6 stop ND as its not to OTT for me.
Its also usually enough in most cases. (perhaps less so in situation #2,#3 though)
But many like the 10 stop for the effect that the very extended shutter speed gives.

Best is to have both :D
