i was so worried that the near elements could not stitch up but it was not the case. there were some minor mis-matches but were corrected with a little bit more effort. really nice piece of equipment to have, for those who do not want to spend a bomb on the more expensive and elaborated pano kits in the market. thanks to the Photosphere guys for bringing the panosaurus into Singapore.
Using a fixed 28mm compact cam can be restrictive for wider FOV without an option to move further back.
But the panosaurus certainly helped me get the wider FOV and make the fix lens compact a much more versatile kit.
Recently got my new Nodal Ninja 4 from the guys, it was pleasantly surprising that the setup & shooting process was a breeze! It's simply amazing. Lightweight, very easy to use, love the tension knobs. Still haven't had the time to play with it much.
A did away with a much larger Sigma 10-20 to go small with a Pentax DA15ltd prime.
I felt that 10-12mm tend to have to great a perspective distortion for my preference.
Elements felt too push away.
Yet, I would need to go wider every now and then.
In fact, often, when I need wider, it needs to be wider than what 10mm can give on aps-c too.
The Panosaurus solves this issue for me.
A wonderful, inexpensive tool to accompany my system setup.
