I'm sorry, what do you mean by that?

We have to keep it ontopic. By your definition, since GPS devices can be plugged into cameras, it's not offtopic as well. Throw in walkie-talkies as well, since they're absolutely necessary to communicate with your PAs if you're shooting a model with a 600mm lens. Oh right, throw in CD-RW media as well since they're needed for burning pictures. And since I need the PDA for downloading my pictures into, it's probably photography-related as well.

It's a slippery slope, you see. And one that we're not willing to start. That's why it's strictly camera equipment only.

Take it easy.
I do see entirely what you mean, but like what I suggested to
the webmaster, start a section for computer products. It will be
a great help for beginners who want to get into digital photography.

A 'Photography-Related -Computer-Products' sub-forum, I feel, can
be very useful. So that it can home postings like mine and not be banished
to 'Banal Talk'. Just my two-cents worth.

Nope, not offended. Just have to make our stand clear on this.

Right now, stuff (non-sales) like these goes into General, Reviews/Previews, Technical Discussions. We're generally reluctant to open up any new subsections at the moment unless there's a great need for it.
