Haha.. jewelery that my friend lent to me for shooting..

Post-processed warm color (on top of warm desk lamp) and sharpening / contrast. Shot with 400D + 17-40 handheld, with 1 IKEA desk-lamp and ambient light from ceiling lamps.

I think it's over-sharpened -- see the bokeh at the lower tip of the key? it's like popping out already.

Also your DOF isn't used very well. The middle part of the key isn't totally in focus, neither is that faceted jewel. What do you want the viewer to look at?

I agree with the sharpening. I actually want viewers to draw their attention to the key-design area and the chain connecting that area to the other parts.

EDIT: Whoops sorry, forgot to thank you for commenting =)
