Why not? If you can make some nice pic out of that person n you show them the result, they might pose for you more. Ask is ok, don't take without permission n kenna something else. ;p (Unless you got a 300mm F2.8 and above lens, hide one corner n take, haha! :bsmilie: )

in my late teens i've approached girls off the street in my quest for practice in portraiture. initially i was shy, but after a few tries i got bolder. i did this for 2-3 yrs on and off.
one of them even became a good friend for over 10 years but sadly now lost contact...
