I see quite a few people here has been to Iceland.
Has anyone been to there in Winter?
I will be staying there for 4 nights trying to catch the Aurora.
I will be arriving at 8pm so after getting the car it should be 9pm. Is the drive from the airport to the Reykyavik easy at 9pm? A bit apprehensive about driving in Iceland. We have some experience driving overseas (lofoten in early April) but mid winter in Iceland sounds a bit difficult.
Any recommendations for where to stay and guides? There are so many guides available so I am wondering which ones you guys have tried out with.
