Profile of speaker: Mr. Lim Kim Boon is a qualified Mountain Leader and an active member of the Mountaineering Instructor Association in the UK, he is also an ice-climbing instructor with the Chinese Mountaineering Association. A graduate of Outdoor and Environmental Education from Liverpool John Moores University, he has worked in California and led the UK World Challenge Expeditions to Peru and Mongolia.
Kim Boon is pioneer rock-climbing instructor and assessor in Singapore. He has enormous mountaineering experience and has scaled numerous peaks in the UK, the European Alps, North America, Africa, New Zealand, China and in the Himalayas regions. He was the expedition director for NUS Everest Team from 2003-2005 and currently the advisor for the Singapore Women Everest Team.
